In 2005 I had the opportunity to visit the site of the former Bethlehem Steel. The site was about to undergo a massive revitalization plan to bring in housing, shopping, casinos and concert venues. As part of a class for my Environmental Design degree we visited the area to get a better idea of what they were planning, how they made their decisions, and if anything could have been done better.
It was through these photographs taken that day that my true passion and talent for photography began to shine through. These buildings in these photographs have all been torn down since then, leaving ghosts of memories of what was once an essential part of the building of this country.
